RELIGIOUS LIFE (JNANODAYA)

Directress: Sr. Bincy, CMC

Email: jnanodaya89@gmail.com

Diploma in Theology and Religious Sciences at Jnanodaya is a one-year intensive programme offered under the auspices of the Faculty of Theology, Dharmaram Vidya Kshetram. This diploma course is conducted and managed by the Sisters of the Congregation of the Mother of Carmel (CMC) and is designed primarily for women religious who seek to deepen their theological understanding and spiritual commitment.

Rooted in the Catholic tradition and inspired by the charism of consecrated life, the programme offers a rich blend of academic and formational experiences. Alongside foundational and seminar-based sessions, the curriculum is organized into four key streams: Theological, Scriptural, Psychological, and Religio-Pastoral. Each area is thoughtfully structured to support the personal, spiritual, and ministerial growth of women religious, equipping them for their mission in today’s world.

The core aim of this programme is to foster an ‘integral awakening’ (Jnanodaya)—a holistic transformation that empowers participants to become effective and compassionate bearers of Christ’s message and mission. A Diploma will be awarded upon successful completion of all academic and formation requirements. A working knowledge of English is essential for enrolment.
