CENTRE FOR DALIT SOLIDARITY (CDS)
The mainstream culture of Indian society supported by the great Sanskrit tradition appears to move with a mono-cultural and mono-religious nationalism. Centre for Dalit Solidarity, established on 14 July 1997, aims at preserving and promoting the cultural, social, and religious diversities of the tribals, aboriginals, dalits, and other ethnic and religious minorities preserved in what is known as little traditions, to nurture the pluralistic spirit of Indian civilization.
