The Institute offers a Diploma in Oriental Canon Law which is meant for those who do not intent to cover the whole LOCL syllabus but prefer to concentrate on a few courses. A curriculum of 10 courses and a research paper prescribed by the Director shall be the requirement of the course. Its duration will be one year or two semesters. Students who successfully complete the prescribed curriculum will receive a Diploma in Oriental Canon Law issued by the Institute.
